First of all, I have a few BOY sample tees available. The sizes are listed on the picture and the cost is $12 (plus postage if I ship). I have a small stash of the Kiddy Kats 5/6 tees so I sometimes do Applique Cafe samples on them, and unfortunately my “G” is too big for a 5T or 5/6. I’ve recently joined a Coop of organic fruits and vegetables and today was my first day! We are eat-out-a-lot people. I like to cook and we try to plan and intend on cooking, but also stay super busy and sometimes it is easier (and cheaper) just to eat out. Tonight we are going to get a yummy Rotisserie chicken from Costco (they are like $5) so I’m going to whip up something to go with it. Squash casserole? I’ll have to pick up some more squash. Broccoli salad? The fruit looks yummy too! I’m not 100% sure what to do with all this but am excited to be getting these fresh organic fruits & veggies every other Monday! Every now & then I get the urge to be healthy, and then usually a week later I give up and we’re at McDonalds…
I did these backpacks yesterday for some twins heading to Kindergarten. Mom got these for $4.88 each at WALMART! She picked out the minis from Applique Momma and this is how they turned out! Mason is MWP Library font and Mary Carter is MWP Curly Q.
How does one even make a backpack for $4.88?? Way to go Walmart!
Lastly, Virginia’s Run is coming up in September! We have sold roughly 140 Virginia’s Cross designs thus far and hope to sell many more in the upcoming month. All proceeds will go to Virginia’s Run so add this one to your applique collection! It’s on sale now too!
OK, really LASTLY, the 60% off Applique Cafe sale ends THIS WEDNESDAY! I added 2 new designs this morning ~ Dog Truck and (chubby) Crayon Trio! Shown below I added initials in Specs or Grins & Giggles fonts, which is one of my favorites. Specs is now offered at Needleheads as a Monogram Wizard Plus font!
Have a great week! School starts for us next Monday, with the little 2 starting back September 1st! We finalize our kitchen cabinet finish maybe tomorrow, pick out tile this week ~ should be an interesting month once sheet rock, old cabinets and tile start coming out! Pray for me… really…
